We offer various options of CARGO insurance, depending on individual needs. Our company cooperates with credible insurers and possible damages are paid out without delays upon submission of the required documentation.

1. Why is it worth insuring your cargo?
Transport operations always carry the risk of cargo damage. Forwarder’s liability is limited to SDR 2 per kilogram of gross weight. Insurance costs are incomparably low in relation to possible losses (with shipments worth up to USD 40.000 insurance costs are only USD 45).

3. AMOUNT OF INSURANCE: maximum up to 110% of the cargo value, taking account of costs of transportation and insurance.

4. INSURANCE PREMIUM + INSURANCE HANDLING FEE

• policy is issued as a separate document upon customer’s request, quoted individually
• clauses outside (A): individual quotation
• transportation to/from increased-risk countries e.g. Afghanistan, valuable goods, electronic equipment, fragile products, deep frozen food, etc.: individual quotation
• individual quotations for large volumes

6. PROCEDURE
a. ordering insurance:

• up to 3 days after the ship sails out from the port (in export)
• up to 10 days after the ship sails out from the port (in import)

Insurance of cargo declared after the expiry of the aforementioned deadlines requires approval of the insurer. Moreover, customer’s order has to bear the following clause: “To the best of my knowledge the transported goods are free from any damages" / „Według mojej najlepszej wiedzy towar jest transportowany w stanie nieuszkodzonym.”

b. Confirmation of cargo insurance is sent via e-mail. If the customer requested the policy document, its draft is submitted for verification and confirmation.

Attachments: English version. Form authorizing our Agency to handle on your behalf. In order to use our services please print this form, fill the fields that concern your company, sign it and attach your company seal and name seal. The authorization has to be signed by all persons necessary to represent your company. You can sent the filled form by post or deliver it personally.
